Let's Play Work - Forest Park

This is the post I needed today. Yes, it gave me a good cry, but it was very cathartic for me. All these lovely people have said similar things to me in person, and please know I appreciated the words so much as well, but this hit me differently. It encapsulates every reason I opened the space.
The largest part of my sadness is not that we are "just" losing this business. It is that it feels like I'm losing this community... which I know isn't true, but I'm in my feels, so we just have to allow it.
Also, my biggest wish for th future is that someone takes this concept and runs with it. This community needs this!! And we are not closing because we weren't successful. There were just barriers that even our success couldn't overcome. Please, someone build on my dream!!
Also, a picture of what one of our little guests wrote on the table at our going away party. This is for sure one time I'll allow writing on furniture. ;)

Shout out to for the most amazing Taylor Swift cake for my daughter Carolyn. I gave Chelsea total free reign and said "surprise me!" And she sure delivered. We call her Care, or Care Bear, which is why Taylor's shirt says Care.
It's those small details that sets Chelsea apart. And as always, just as delicious as it looked!

Mari is the den leader for the Tigers which is the 1st grade group. All are welcome with the scouts and it's such a great groups of kids and adults in this area. If you aren't but know someone who might be interested please share. You do not have to live in Forest Park to join! So please stop by!

Forest Park D91 Schools is hosting an event next Friday to introduce their new Affinity Groups. These will be an amazing asset for parents of young children. Please register and come hang out! And no need to worry about childcare, the kids can play while you mingle.
