Today we celebrate Ms. Carolyn as she begins her well-earned retirement! ๐ŸŽ‰

For the past 13 years, Ms. Carolyn has been a cherished member of the OLMCA family, serving countless breakfasts and lunches with a smile, kindness, and genuine care for our students. Her warm presence in the Parish Hall has been a daily reminder of the love and dedication that make our school community so special.

While we will miss her dearly, we are excited for her as she begins this new chapter filled with family, relaxation, and all the adventures retirement has to offer.

Thank you, Carolyn, for your years of faithful service, friendship, and care. Once a Mercy family member, always a Mercy family member.

Yesterdayโ€™s Alumni Mass was a beautiful celebration of the generations of OLMCA graduates who continue to be part of our school family. We were honored to welcome alumni from our very first graduating class through the Class of 2026 as Monsignor McGuirl and Fr. Jim Krische, a member of OLMCAโ€™s second graduating class, concelebrated this special Mass together. Once a Mercy family, always a Mercy family. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

The first day feels like yesterday and now graduation is tomorrow. ๐ŸŽ“

We watched the Class of 2026 grow from students into leaders, role models, performers, athletes, altar servers, and lifelong friends. Their journey through OLMCA has been filled with laughter, hard work, faith, and unforgettable memories.

As they prepare to walk across the stage tomorrow, we could not be more proud of all they have accomplished and the incredible young people they have become. Your light will continue to shine bright wherever you go.

Meet the Class of 2026! ๐ŸŽ“โค๏ธ

High School:
Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts

How many years have you attended OLMCA?
2years

Faculty and Staff Shout-Out:
I would like to give a special thank you to my art teacher, Ms. B. Without her guidance, support, and encouragement, I would not have been accepted into LaGuardia High School. She believed in my artistic abilities and helped me grow as an artist, giving me the confidence to pursue my passion.

I would also like to thank all of the teachers at OLMCA. Over the past two years, they have shown me trust, understanding, and respect. They always supported me and made me feel valued as a student. I am especially grateful for the opportunities they gave me to contribute to school art projects. It was an honor to help create artwork for the school and to be part of something meaningful.

I will always appreciate their kindness, encouragement, and belief in me. Thank you for helping me grow both as a student and as a person.

What is one thing you will miss most about OLMCA?
I will miss the times spent attending classes and chatting with everyone.

Advice for OLMCA students:
Pay attention in class and always try your best!
