Congratulations to Cameron Tucker and Teresa Conway-Philips, who both qualified for the PIAA Cross Country State Championship on Saturday, Nov. 4th in Hershey, PA! The last time we qualified both a boy and a girl for the PIAA championships was 2014!

Our amazing Teacher Aide, Mrs. Debbie Malinoski, had a bit of fun with our lesson on cows and milk! 😆 She's the best!!

Anthony Marchilena (TCS Class of ‘10) and Kristin Owen (TCS Class of ‘09) were married on May 14, 2023. 🎉

There were 28 Trinity Alumni at the wedding, and 7 were in the wedding party!

Tony is a Lieutenant in the Navy and went to the Naval Academy after graduating from Trinity. He is a Naval Flight Officer on the USS Vinson, currently on a four month deployment in the Asia Pacific.

Kristin is a grant manager for International Justice Mission, a Christian organization that seeks to protect the poor and vulnerable from violence and human trafficking.

Marchilenas, your Trinity family is celebrating your recent union, and we are also keeping you in prayer while Tony is deployed. You both make us proud, and we are thankful that the Lord brought you together!

Our Trinity High School Choir had the opportunity to combine with the Beaver County Christian School Choir for a day at Geneva College. The students enjoyed learning new music and sharing what they have been working on. It was truly an incredible workshop for all involved.

A huge thanks goes out to Kathryn Donaldson, her students, and to the Geneva faculty for hosting!

Our Maintenance Staff does so much for our school! Our Hospitality Committee said THANK YOU on National Custodian Day by providing a delicious luncheon for Mike, Rich, and Joe! Our K-2nd grades also created sweet cards to show their gratitude.

These wonderful men keep our school beautiful and operational! Be sure to thank them for their continued hard work.

TCS faculty and staff make it all look "Easy-Peasy Lemon-Squeezy"! 🍋Our INCREDIBLE Hospitality Committee took this theme and ran with it to show appreciation to all the hard working teachers, administrators, aides, and office managers.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Gribble, who swam at the WAADA Middle School Championships, representing Trinity Christian School at Derry Area High School on Saturday, October 21st!!
With personal records in both events, Elizabeth placed 4th in the 50 yard breaststroke with a 37.73 and 10th in the 100 yard individual medley with a 1:17.74. 🎉

(While we do not have a swim team at TCS, we were able to send one student to this event as we are able to do in some high school WPIAL events!)

Our Middle School Soccer and Volleyball Teams both ended first in our sections and runner up in the SWCAC Championships! Congrats to all of our hardworking athletes and to Coach Brad Minnigh with our soccer team and Coach Julie Gregory and Coach Erin Fiscus for volleyball!

Miss Jillian Thomas, TCS Class of 2020, has been successfully continuing the theater career she began at Trinity! Jillian is in the BFA Theatre Program at Palm Beach Atlantic University and recently starred as the sword-wielding Damis in "Tartuffe" by Molière.

Jillian continues to strive to bring glory to God in all she does, in and outside of the theater. Congratulations on your continued success, Jillian!

Dr. Hommes took his Humanities Class to Frick Park to learn amongst God’s marvelous creation. Many of God’s creatures were seen (deer, wild turkeys, a beautiful woodpecker, a chipmunk, a fuzzy caterpillar, and more) along with the beautiful fall foliage! It was a peaceful day of exploring, journaling, and reflecting on their recent Humanities readings.

Mrs. Breeden and the High School Science Club enjoyed hosting the second grade classes for some exciting science labs! 🧫🔥🧑🏽‍🔬

Our 3rd grade artist of the month is Pierre Auguste Renoir! This well-known French impressionist started his career at age 13 by painting flowers on porcelain plates. The students loved creating their own Renoir-inspired plates! 🎨

It's a beautiful day for the TCS Marching Band to practice for the Ft. Ligonier Days Parade tomorrow!

Our band features 105 of our talented students, and they are very excited to march in the parade, which begins at 11AM tomorrow in Ligonier.

Last night's Annual Pep Band Festival was a huge success! The band sounded fantastic, and the band front performers were excellent!

Wednesday, October 11th at 6:30PM in the “teachers' parking lot” is Trinity's 3rd Annual Pep Band Fall Festival!

This year, instead of food vendors, some of our band parents are making food that will be sold at the event to raise money for our Trinity Band Program.

The outdoor concert has a casual tailgating-feel, so bring your lawn chair, food or concession money (cash only), and your dancing shoes to enjoy music under the stars!

Mr. Hixon brought six of his High School Choir students to Gateway High School for the First Annual Allegheny County Chorus.

What a great day of making music!

Congratulations to our Senior soccer players and their amazing families! These wonderful players will be so very missed next year!

Senior Night was awesome, thanks to our Athletic Boosters, Pep Band, TCS Live Commentators, Soccer Coaches, and the many fans who came out in support!

Mr. Brown's 7th graders had a blast playing "Colonial Kid Games" for their recent history unit. The stilts, especially, were a huge hit!

In Mrs. Mason's art class, she taught the second graders about the German art form of paper cutting, called "scherenschnitte" (pronounced “sheer-en-shnit-ah”).
