NASBITE International is a professional organization aimed at raising the practice of internation trade that sponsors the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential. The goals of our organization are:
-To coordinate and administer the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential.
-To promote an exchange of information and resources among global business education and assistance professionals.
-To offer professional development for those engaged in global business education and assistance.
-To provide advocacy and leadership for global business education and assistance professionals. Our members include global business educators and trainers at academic institutions; trade specialists at federal, state and local trade assistance organizations, and practitioners that engage in or facilitate global business activity. NASBITE International also offers the NASBITE CGBP credential. The NASBITE CGBP provides a benchmark
for competency in global commerce. The
CGBP designation demonstrates an individual's ability to conduct global business including Global Business Management, Global Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and Trade Finance. For candidates experienced in international trade, the certification confirms that knowledge. For candidates just beginning, it establishes a professional development goal to ensure a full understanding of the profession. For companies, it assures that employees are able to practice global business at the professional level required in today's competitive environment.
