🌟National Leadership Day is tomorrow, 2/20! 🌟

We look forward to highlighting what it means to be a Leader in Me Lighthouse School committed to practicing the 7 Habits each day. This is a special opportunity for our students to reflect on leadership in action…such as Brooke and Pip, 3rd graders who used their voice today to request an opportunity to participate in a schoolwide celebration (specifically 100th day-they miss it!). We decided tomorrow would be a great opportunity to celebrate FHES LEADERS!

Students are encouraged to wear their Forest Hill spirit wear/school colors and will also have the option to dress in the spirit of their favorite leader as we highlight the qualities that make someone a true leader: initiative, responsibility, empathy, perseverance, and teamwork. (NOT required, just a fun extra!) Together, we continue to grow Remarkable Retriever Leaders who lead with character, confidence, and heart. 💚💛💚

We are collecting canned goods and pantry items to support Centre United Methodist Church (next to FHES) and families in our community.

Each grade will compete to collect the most items, and the winning grade will have the special opportunity to deliver donations to the church!

💙UPDATE: Back to School for STRIVE Families will now be Tuesday, 8/26, from 3:00-4:00 PM. We apologize for the change, however STRIVE staff will be unavailable on 8/27 due to professional learning activities.

🐾Kindergarten Retriever Playdate🐾 We will see you tomorrow, 8/18 from 3:00-4:00 PM! We kindly ask that only Retrievers entering Kindergarten and their parents/guardian attend so that our K students can meet their teacher and classmates in a smaller setting.

It has been almost 1 month of summer fun and we hope you are having fun in the sun and spending time outside AWAY from technology!

We are excited to announce that HCPS has updated all websites. We are actively adding content (Families/Students- ALL Documents: school supply lists, staff emails, etc.) and it has an amazing Live Feed that will allow us to quickly share photos from exciting school events during the school year.
