The Order of the Marshal

The Order of the Marshal The Order of the Marshal is an organization devoted to recreating knights and chivalry in the modern day, education, charity, and fun!

Founded in November of 2010, the Order of the Marshal grew out of the ModernChivalry.org forum, as a means for our members to get together and coordinate on historical events, charity activities, and visiting renfaires. We are not a LARP or living history group, but rather a seek to recreate knights and chivalry in the modern day. Medieval helmets come in various styles and evolved through the centuries. Typically for armored combat, our fighters have more coverage over the eye slots for safety, preventing any weapons from sliding through. ⚔️

Our fighters are HEMA practitioners and always duel with safety in mind. We have a sword fighting demonstration at the Virginia Renaissance Festival where we perform real medieval combat.
