We received a lot of calls today because ParentVue says “click here for online registration” and then only shows the Community School. This is because only the HS and CS have online registration, so don’t be alarmed!

You don’t have to do anything to be registered at TM if you were in district last year. If you are new to the district, please come in and fill out paperwork and we will get you registered.

I’m sorry it’s so unclear, if you have any questions call us at 503-359-2506 and we can walk you through it.

We had a parent ask about the three headphones listed on the school supply list, so to clarify:

We are talking about the cheap earbuds, you can find them at Dollar Tree or Amazon. If your child prefers a nicer, over ear type of headphone, by all means they can use that and do not need three. We would just ask that they have a set of earbuds as backup.

Hello, Mustangs! It's almost time for the new school year and we have the first piece of information for you - the school supply list!

More information will be coming in August, but in the meantime here are a few frequently asked questions:

1. Do I need to enroll my student? If you were in the FGSD last year, your student will automatically enroll and you don't have to do anything. If you are coming from a school outside the district, you will need to enroll. I wish that I could tell you that enrollment is online (soon!) but for now we are still doing old fashioned enrollment packets that you can find outside both buildings at Tom McCall, available to grab anytime. Please fill them out and return them to the office.

2. Who is my student's teacher? Placement is still happening and you will get a letter of introduction in the last half of August.

3. Which building will my student be in? It depends on who your teacher is, so you will know when you get your teacher introductions.

4. When is the first day of school? 5th grade starts on September 3rd and 6th grade starts on September 4th.

5. When is Back to School Night? 5th grade is September 2nd 4:30 to 6:00 and 6th grade is September 3rd from 4:30 to 6:00.

Hello! We are looking for people to volunteer at our job fair next week on April 23rd. We have several openings - hair dresser, cleaning, fire department, retail sales, business owner, internet installation, banking, shipping, electrical, construction - and many more!

There are two shifts, the morning one is from 9:30 to 11:10 and the afternoon one is from 11:55 to 1:35. We would love to have parents and community come share their careers with our students. You can either comment here or call Lindsey Swan we can get you signed up!
