Thank you to my wonderful families for such a great school year and for the loan of your precious children. I feel like we had two triumphant days of graduation promotion ceremonies to cap it all off as well.

Meantime, one of you people is missing a jacket!

Many have you have already paid me for the month of May but if not, here’s your gentle reminder that your very last tuition check of the year is due this Friday!

Plan now to attend your child’s special graduation promotion party…potluck lunch at Thatcher Park, May 28 and 29th from 9:30 to 11:30. I will have a sign-up sheet in the classroom to bring a potluck dish.

This is a short sweet event, an hour of playtime, and then a time to publicly affirm your child for their progress this year, and give them three teddy bear, preschool “hip hip hoorays “! Bring a Camera and invite the family.

Teddy Bear Preschool at Forest Grove’s own best PINK SPOON! We had such a great time seeing where all the candies and the cookies are made and tasting the delicious frozen yogurt. We even got to see a cake get decorated. So much fun! Our thanks to Miss Stacy and the whole staff!

Tuesday May 5 All school field trip to the famous PINK SPOON!
Regular drop off at 8:30 and pick up at 11:15 to transport to the pink spoon. We will eat lunch at school before our treat. Family and siblings welcome. Preschoolers will receive a small free cup of yogurt and everybody else pays regular menu prices.

LAST DAY May 28-29 playtime and picnic at Thatcher Park. Meet at Thatcher Park at 9:30 for one hour of playtime; a short, super sweet graduation ceremony, and a potluck lunch together. Plan on being done by noon. Invite the family and don’t forget a camera!

We are so grateful to have some nice weather to play outside! You can’t run and scream inside, but of course you can run and scream outside!

No school today unfortunately! Two large trees are being removed on our property…so due to a lot of heavy equipment, and for safety sake, school will resume tomorrow.

We had a very special event today at school! Officer Katie of the Forest Grove police department came and showed the kids that police officers are our friends, here to help and protect us! We got to see her car, play with her handcuffs, hear the siren and give big hugs! Thanks, Officer Katie!
