🎉📣 ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES ARE HERE! LET THE CELEBRATION BEGIN! 📣🎉

Parents and Guardians, be on the lookout! Last week 683 students received a September Attendance Certificate. These certificates celebrate students who show up, stay committed, and make learning a priority.

Certificates are earned each month. Students must maintain 90% - 100% attendance to qualify. Every new month is a fresh opportunity to earn a new certificate.

Here's a challenge: Help your student create their very own attendance certificate collection! Will your child earn one this month? Can they keep the streak going and collect another one next month? Will they collect all NINE for the year and get a special invite to our end of year celebration? Let's find out!

Every day counts, every month is a new opportunity, and every achievement deserves to be celebrated!

Helping with attendance records, questions, and keeping families in the loop! She is the first point of contact for any and all attendance related questions.

Supporting students and families and helping remove barriers to being at school! She works one-on-one with students to set attendance goals and problem solve concerns.

NAMS is lucky to have two amazing deans of students this year. From celebrating student achievements to helping navigate the challenges of middle school, Mr. V. and Mr. Martin are two people our students can always count on! They work with students, families, and staff to build a school culture where students feel safe, supported, connected, and empowered to succeed!

Tonight is the night! We would love to see you at our Back to School Night where you can drop in any time between 4:30p.m. and 6:30p.m. to meet teachers, tour classrooms, see the cafeteria upgrades, and have your student open their locker for you.

What a wonderful day with our 8th graders joining the 7th graders in the building! Lockers, Chromebooks, and Jeopardy were just a few of the activities happening today, and the back to school energy was fantastic.

The 2026-27 school year is going to be amazing!

Let's talk about morning drop-off at NAMS. We've got a few quick tips to help reduce your time in line:

⏰ Doors Open at 7:20 a.m. Students should be in class by 7:45 a.m. to avoid being marked late.

🌟 Beat the Rush: For the shortest drop-off line, arrive between 7:20–7:30 a.m.

🔄 Keep Moving: Pull all the way forward in the roundabout. Once traffic stops, students should immediately exit the car — even if they're not directly in front of the school doors. Our favorite thing? When we can clear the entire roundabout at once because all of the students exited so quickly!

↩️ Turn Right: We highly encourage turning right when exiting the roundabout. Left turns slow traffic and can stop the line completely.

👋 Start With a Smile: Our principal and assistant principal are outside each morning to welcome students and help keep traffic moving. Give them a wave!
