The Learning Tree will return to normal hours of operation on Monday, October 7. We hope everyone is doing well and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

The aftermath of Hurricane Helene has been devastating for our community. It has been heartbreaking to see the loss we have endured but also heartwarming to see the kindness and compassion so many have shown.

At this time, The Learning Tree will remain CLOSED.
Several families are still without power or are unable to leave their homes due to downed trees. Others have no gas to be able to drive to the center.
We also lost all of our food during the power outage. And will not be able to resume operations until we are fully equipped to meet the child nutrition guidelines set by the state.
We are attempting to keep you updated via Brightwheel and Facebook but with limited power, internet, and phone services; it has been difficult.
We apologize for this inconvenience.

We hope everyone is doing well. If you are in need of assistance with shelter, food, or drinking water, please reach out to us via Brightwheel and Facebook. When we have communication services available, someone will help link you to resources.

We appreciate ALL the health, safety, utility workers and volunteers for all they are doing during this time.
Stay safe and we hope to see you all soon.
