The Forest City Education Foundation was proud to give out $97,600 in scholarships to Forest City graduates in 2010.

With continued support from the Hanson Foundation and other donations from Alumni and Friends, Forest City Dollars for Education hopes to continue bettering the opportunities for Forest City students and graduates.

Food, football, and fundraising - what a great way to spend a Friday night! 🏈 We'll be out next to the High School concession stand for our annual Fall Tailgate Meal on Friday, September 18th, and hope you'll join us before cheering on the Indians in their homecoming game! 📣

Our meal this year is sponsored by Forest City Ford, and includes a choice of grilled chicken or pork loin, sides, dessert, and a drink (free will donation - suggested $10/each), with Jennings & Hall Financial Group generously matching the first $4,000 in donations. All proceeds go to our DreamCatcher fund, which supports our scholarships and other educational programs for the students of Forest City 🎓

Our August $100 Get On The Bus Cash Winner is...Cindy Hoeft!

🍎Last Friday at our annual presentation to the Forest City Community School District, we announced our new incentive tied to our "Get On The Bus" payroll deduction program we have available for all FCCSD employees! Each month, we'll draw one name from our list of participants to receive a cash prize as a small way to say "THANK YOU!" for all they do for our school district and our students! Our July $100 Get On The Bus Cash Winner is...Shannon Gassman!

📣 PARENTS: If your student plans to take the ACT on Saturday, September 19th, be sure to get them registered by NEXT FRIDAY, August 14th, to avoid late fees! ✏️ Go to www.act.org to claim their spot and find more information on testing sites and requirements.

Did your student complete the ACT Prep Course through the Foundation? They may be eligible for their test fee to be covered! 💵 Contact [email protected] to verify.
