Part-Time Evening Nursing Instructor
Lenape Technical School Practical Nurse Program
The Lenape Technical School Practical Nurse Program is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Evening Nursing Instructor who brings both clinical expertise and a passion for educating the next generation of nurses.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Associate Nursing Degree (ASN) Working on BSN
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing education experience or two (2) years of recent direct patient care experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to student success and professional nursing education
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting future nurses
Key Responsibilities As a Nursing Instructor, you will:
• Teach nursing content throughout the Practical Nurse Program, including:
o Level I: Anatomy & Physiology, Professional Role & Communication (PRC), Nutrition, and Fundamentals of Nursing
o Level II: Medical-Surgical Nursing
o Level III: Maternity Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing
o Level IV: Leadership and Gerontology
• Provide instruction in both classroom and clinical settings
• Supervise and mentor students during clinical experiences
• Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Support student learning and academic achievement
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to maintain a high-quality educational environment
• Foster professionalism, critical thinking, and clinical competence in future nurses
Schedule Part-Time Evening Position
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• No weekends , No holidays
Compensation & Benefits
• Starting Pay: $35.00 per hour
• $2.00 per hour evening shift differential
• Expected hours: 12–20 hours per week
