Youtoomovement
It all begun with Sammuel A., who attended an FUSD board meeting and asked for FAPE.
#YOUTOOMOVEMENT was initiated in 2017 by children and local parent volunteers who are passionate about improving special education for children of special needs. We ask for transparency and accountability in the Fontana Unified School District and surrounding schools.

MAJOR WIN FOR PARENTS.
Supreme Court ruling makes it easier for students with disabilities to sue schools
The U.S. Supreme Court, in a unanimous opinion, has lowered the burden for students with disabilities to sue their schools.
The case centers on Minnesota student Ava Tharpe, who has a rare, severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, which causes daily seizures, according to Education Week. Her seizures are so frequent in the morning that she cannot attend school before noon.
While attending school in Kentucky, she received her instruction from noon until 6 p.m. However, when her family moved to Minnesota in 2015, her new school told her they could not accommodate this schedule. This means she received 4.25 hours of instruction compared to non-disabled students, who received 6.5 hours.
Her family filed a complaint with the Minnesota Department of Education, alleging this violated the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). An administrative law judge sided with the Tharpes. The family sought monetary damages for the years of alleged mistreatment and out-of-pocket costs to hire support specialists under IDEA, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act

Great job
BREAKING NEWS: moments ago, we forced CA Assembly Democrats to cave in to public pressure and finally pass AB 379 to make it a felony to purchase a 16 or 17 year old minor for s*x. Thank you to all who helped us achieve this big victory!
