❤️ 🐔 🐥
👋 Hey there, I’m Carrie — one of the farmers behind May Hill Farm!
I’m a wife, mom, and farmer raising grass-fed beef, heritage pork, pasture-raised chicken, and eggs alongside my family right here in Wisconsin.
Farming wasn’t something I grew up with — it’s something I chose. We’ve built our farm with a focus on transparency, animal welfare, and bringing real, local food to families who care about where their food comes from.
Thanks for being here and supporting what we do. Got questions about how we farm or what’s in your freezer? I’m always happy to chat!

Fresh food. Less waste. Stronger community
🥕 Fresh food. Less waste. Stronger community.
The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership’s FDL Fresh 5 Farmers Market Donation Program is back for its 10th year! Each Saturday, July 11–October 18, local farmers and market vendors will have the opportunity to donate excess produce and other nutritious goods to help neighbors in need.
Donated items are collected and provided to Fondy Food Pantry helping ensure fresh, locally grown food reaches community members while reducing food waste.
Thank you to our local farmers, vendors, and community partners for making a difference one donation at a time! 💚

🌱 Harvest Highlights is in full swing 🌱
A couple weeks ago we made salsa at Lily Pad Learning Center, LLC with the school aged kids who are there during summer break.
This week we started working with the pre-schoolers! Our first stop was at Tiny Town Childcare of Brandon.
🍅 We brought along Caprese Skewers made with fresh cherry tomatoes from Olden Organics Farm
🍅 Read “I will never not EVER eat a tomato”
🍅 And did a fun painting in a bag activity with tomatoes inside for a little texture
🍅 Talked about different foods made with tomatoes, how tomatoes use vines to grow UP, and how our taste buds change…
There were many surprised faces when they realized ketchup was made of tomatoes!! And lots of funny faces when they tried fresh basil 😅
Everyone was brave enough to try the Caprese treats, even if everyone didn’t love it.
BUT did you know… it can take 10-15 tries for kids to start liking new foods. Every opportunity to explore new foods helps!! That’s why we do what we do 🌟
Next week our friends at the Fond du Lac County Health Department will visit Bright Beginnings Academy for Kids and the preschoolers back at Lily Pad Learning Center for more tomato art!
Soon we will be planning next quarters food and activities! What should the kids try next??
