Good morning TBS and welcome to our Wednesday. I am excited to know that it will be a beautiful few days for you all. Perfect fall weather to enjoy the 4 days off. I know that if I were able to utilize this time for myself I would get many things done on the outside to-do list. Hope you can take advantage while you can. I heard on the radio that the weather the following week looks more like a WI true fall as cooler temperatures will settle in!

Well, today we have a normal day. There will be chapel this morning and school as normal. We will have AWANA this evening and then enjoy Thursday and Friday with No School! Don’t forget about the soccer schedule! Practice on Thursday and then games on Friday for both the MS and Varsity.

TBS Nation,

Good morning TBS and welcome to our Tuesday. We have two days, including today, left in our week. It’s a quick one because of the WACS Teacher Convention! For whatever reason the Jr / Sr High was super energetic yesterday and I could not get them off of the ceiling. I think they smell the short week and are excited about all the extra curricular activity as well. I wish I could bottle up the energy and put it in pill form and then take it!

Today we have hot lunch (Breakfast Enchiladas) and a MS home game. The Varsity will have a full soccer practice as scheduled. A full schedule for sure! It looks like the extended forecast will be very nice over the next week or so with high temperatures reaching up into the mid 70’s again. What a blessing! I am personally thankful because I don’t have one piece of wood cut or prepared for the winter….Yikes! That could be a problem moving forward into November!

Enjoy the colors on the trees! Enjoy the day ahead - no matter the challenge! Enjoy the people around you! Enjoy the place where God has you right now!

Good morning TBS and welcome to our Friday. This is the end of week 7 of our quarter. It is hard to believe that we are almost 1/4 of the way done with school, yet here we are. Time is flying so fast this year….not sure I can hang on at this pace. Regardless, here is the update for the weekend. First we have a normal Friday as far as school is concerned. Later this afternoon the Varsity will leave early to travel to Freedom, WI to play in the VHS Tournament. The game today will be at 4:00 but players need to arrive at 3:15pm. Tomorrow games are scheduled for 10am and then again at 1:30pm. If you are a player you need to arrive 45 minutes prior to each game. I’m sure coach will give you instructions should there be changes.

Tomorrow, the TBC Youth will be traveling to MBU for the first annual Battle on the Quad event. There will be activities and special speakers for the day and it should be a great time for all.

Next Thursday and Friday TBS has no school. The staff will be attending a Teacher Conference in the Dells. We will be challenged by a Keynote Speaker, we will attend workshops, and brush shoulders with over 600 other educators from around the great lakes states! It will be a learning experience for sure. Maybe at the end we will jump in a pool….we shall see!

TBS Nation,

Good OCTOBER morning to you all…. We have retired the month of September and march on to the new month. Many know that this month can be a bit volatile in weather. I heard this morning that we have an average high of 64 at the beginning of the month and end the month with 50 degrees for an average high. We will enjoy the peak colors during this month as well and we can expect our first snow flakes to fall. This is also the part of the year where darkness really sets in and we find our mornings and evenings with little light!

Hopefully you had a great Wednesday especially with Parent’s night at awana. Today is a normal day and we will find ourselves finishing the week with few events. There is a Varsity soccer practice tonight and then a VHS tournament Friday evening and Saturday. The Youth will also attend Battle on the Quad at MBU all day Saturday! Sunday is also a full day and we hit repeat next week!

A busy time of year for sure….. October 8-9 you will get a little break for the family. The TBS staff will go to the WACS Educators Convention. We attend workshops and enjoy fellowship with other teachers. There will be over 600 teachers at the convention. It is an encouraging and enjoyable time for sure!

Pack the umbrella for the morning….It is still raining! The rain will clear a bit for the rest of the day. Hopefully we won’t be trapped all day inside. Then comes a shot of cooler weather to remind us that we don’t live in Florida. We bounce back a bit next week but after that the cooler temperatures will return which signals winters entrance. Time to tune up the snowblowers!

Good morning and welcome to a wet Wednesday. We had some rain over night and it is a bit wet out this morning yet. I find that dark and dreary days make it hard to get going…. How about you? Today is a chapel day for TBS. We welcome preaching about TRUTH and make it a priority in our school. We have a normal Day for the schedule. There is a MS soccer practice today which is a change from normal. Please make that adjustment to the calendar today. Awana tonight as per usual. Looking forward to a long day but a good day!

Pray for a couple of things this morning. There is an uncle of the Struska family named Tom who passed away this past weekend from his battle with cancer. Pray of the family and for the funeral planned this coming Saturday. Also pray for those who are receiving cancer treatment - Pastor Leeds, Roger F. and others!

A couple of dates to remember:

October 3: Battle on the Quad Youth Event / VHS Soccer Tournament
October 8-9: No School / WACS Educators Convention, Wisconsin Dells
October 16: Grandparent’s Day

Good morning TBS and welcome to our Tuesday. Two days left in September….where did it go? Last night the Varsity took on a very good team and lost by a good margin. Sometimes the momentum really turns against you and it is very hard to not let it build in a negative way. We had only a couple of opportunities to score and could not put it into the back of the net. Nevertheless this was a good barometer for the team to see the improvement that needs to happen over the next few weeks. This weekend the Varsity will play at the VHS tournament up in Freedom, WI. They will play on Friday afternoon at 4pm then have two games on Saturday. There is soccer practice today for both MS and Varsity today. MS has a practice on Wednesday as well. Remember that change parents!

Today is a Hot Lunch day. Chili and cornbread is on the menu. Looking forward to that. Also, I wanted to remind each of you to invite your grandparents to the Grandparent’s Day event coming up in a couple of weeks. We are all looking forward to the time spent with our loved ones. Hope you can make it October 16th, 2026.

Enjoy the sun while you can. Listening to the forecast this morning, it would seem that we will be wet for the remainder of the week. We might need to run home and mow before the gras takes over the lawns…

Good morning and welcome to week 7! Today we have a varsity home game and there should be a good crowd considering how nice the weather looks to be. I hope the team plays well and has a great competition today. This week is full and normal. Speaking of normal, last week wasn’t! Thank you to all of you who came in and prepared, built and sold apple pies the past 4 days! We only have something like 60 left or so. That is about normal. I am thankful for all those who purchased pies as well. Great job!

This week we have a normal schedule. Today we have a soccer game. Tuesday there is ho lunch - chili and cornbread. Wednesday is our normal chapel day. Thursday will be soccer practice and Friday-Saturday is a VHS Soccer Tournament / Battle on the Quad!

My wife commented that she was thankful that we will have a normal busy schedule not the crazy busy schedule this week! I agree!

Good morning TBS and welcome to our Thursday. Today begins the hands and feet movement of the Dutch Apple Pie Fundraiser…. Crews are already preparing the Apple Pie ingredients for Friday. We have many hands involved and we are looking forward to a great fundraiser. We need help to sell these on Friday and Saturday. Please reach out to [email protected] if you are able to help with these needs. Several on our staff are involved in a wedding and won’t be able to be as involved in the selling of the pies on Friday afternoon especially. Regardless of the schedule conflicts, the sale will go on!

No games tonight but there is a varsity soccer practice. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy the evening free…..if that is indeed your schedule!

Friday the Jr/Sr High will be all hands on deck to assemble the pies for the fundraiser. TBS will make 500 again this year!

Enjoy the busy schedule….at least that is what I am telling myself at this very moment. It could be the opposite….tons of time with little impact🤔. I’d rather be busy and making the impact🙌!
