Last week, I had the opportunity to travel to London and Oxford (England) and took a course on experiential learning. I had such a great time!

One of Marian's Core Values is learning. As a University, we encourage engagement in the collaborative lifelong process of seeking truth and appropriating knowledge and values to transform the individual, our communities, and the world. That is exactly what this event did for me!

Being a dad has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Watching my children grow from curious kids into the incredible people they are today has brought more joy, pride, and gratitude than I can put into words. They continue to teach me as much as I could ever hope to teach them, and I'm thankful for every memory we've shared along the way.

As a fellow lover of reading, I decided to write a book that encourages readers to recognize the incredible power of our minds. Positive thinking isn't about ignoring life's difficulties. It's about embracing gratitude, finding purpose, and recognizing that even small shifts in perspective can lead to meaningful change.

My wife and I experienced an awesome event, Archipelago 2026, that celebrates the remarkable talents, creativity, and unique perspectives of individuals with exceptional abilities. I especially enjoyed viewing the artwork of Amoako Buachie, Grant Manier, and Stephen Wiltshire. Amoako's art is full of joy, Grant creates his artwork solely from recycled materials, and Stephen drew the Milwaukee skyline entirely from memory after seeing it just once!

Thank you to SSM Health Greater Fond du Lac, SSM Health Treffert Studios, and everyone involved in making this such a memorable event. The evening was a powerful reminder of the genius within all of us!

It was a pleasure to serve as the live auction special guest for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County BIG Event 2026 and help support their incredible mission!

I may have had a little too much fun behind the microphone... maybe I should consider a career change? Just kidding! 😄
