Growing, Measuring & Creating!

Lion's Den is filled with hands-on learning and creativity! Our children measured their height and talked about how much they have grown. They also created beautiful flowers using paper-tearing collages, strengthening their little fingers while exploring colors, textures, and artistic expression. 🎨🌼

Here's what they're learning while having fun:

📏Developing early math and measurement skills
🔢Strengthening fine-motor skills through tearing and gluing
🎨Exploring colors, textures and creative expression
🗣️Building vocabulary through conversations about size & growth
🌱Encouraging confidence and awareness for personal growth

Building a little piece of home!

Our little artists had so much fun creating popsicle stick houses to fill with photos of the people they love most!

This hands-on activity was about so much more than crafting- it was a wonderful opportunity to build important early learning skills including:

Fine Motor Skills: Grasping, placing and gluing popsicle sticks strengthens little hands and prepares children for writing and other everyday tasks.

Language Development: Talking about their families encouraged conversation and vocabulary development.

Social-Emotional Learning: Family photos helped children celebrate the people who make them feel loved, safe and connected.

Our teachers are back and getting ready for an amazing school year! 🍎✏️

Today was our in-service day, filled with training, classroom prep, and getting everything ready for Back-to-School Night and the first day of school. We also took a break for a little fun with a Preschool Edition of "Would You Rather?"—and let's just say there were lots of laughs! 😂

Back-to-School Night is today at 4:30 p.m., and we can't wait to welcome all of our families. See you there! 💙💛

Another favorite memory from Summer Camp! 🍦❤️ Our campers had an amazing time visiting Leatherby's, where they enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour to learn how this local favorite serves up so many sweet treats. After the tour, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch followed by the perfect summer treat—ice cream! 🍔🍨

It's been a summer full of fun adventures, new experiences, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to all of our wonderful campers and families for making this season so special! 💙☀️

As we wrap up an incredible Summer Camp, we're looking back at some of our favorite memories! 🎳 One highlight was our trip to the bowling alley, where campers enjoyed friendly competition, lots of laughs, and of course—pizza! 🍕 Watching friendships grow and seeing so many smiles has made this summer one to remember.

Tomorrow is our last day of summer camp and Tuesday, August 4th marks the start of our new school year.

While we are excited for what the next year has in store, for our friends and "big kids" who are off to new adventures, we love you and will miss you!
