Last week's Cookie Party winners have been announced, and we're excited to celebrate them this Friday! Congratulations for leading their grade levels in donations!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our Cash for Cougars fundraiser so far. We are currently at 23% of our fundraising goal, with just two weeks remaining. While we've made great progress, we still have a long way to go!

This week, students are competing for an exciting prize: a pizza party generously donated by Curry Pizza House of Folsom!

Remember, if each student raises just $25, we will reach our goal and continue supporting programs and opportunities that benefit all SMS students.

We’re halfway through Week 2 of our 5-week PTA fundraiser, and we’ve reached 15% of our goal! 🎉 Now it’s time to turn up the Cougar spirit!

Our challenge: Every student raises just $25.
If each Cougar hits that goal, together we can reach our fundraising target and continue our support of the entire SMS community!

Week 1 is under our belt and we have four winners: 6th grade - Mr. Paiz, 7th grade - Mr. Fischer, and a tie in the 8th grade - Ms. Aquila and Ms. Byrd will all get to enjoy a class donut party this week!

We have hit about 11% of our goal and we need your help to get to the finish line. This week the top participating class in each grade level will earn a cookie party provided by Sweet Lizard! Thank you for your continued support, these funds will be used to support our students, faculty and staff throughout the year. $25 per student will get us to the finish the line!

Cash for Cougars kicked off this week, thank you for your support! We are off to a great start, but we still have a long way to go. Cash for Cougars kicks off today, Monday September 14! We are asking our families to help us kick off the school year with a strong start!
A $5 per week donation from each student will hit our fundraising goal for this event. All funds raised will go to the Sutter Middle School PTA and then distributed to support our teachers and students by providing grants, academic enrichment programs, clubs and fun community events throughout the school year!

SMS PTA Needs a Reflections Coordinator!

The PTA Reflections Program gives students the opportunity to express themselves through art, photography, writing, music, dance, and film—and have their work recognized in our school and beyond.

We are looking for a Reflections Coordinator ASAP to help organize and promote the program at Sutter. The role includes sharing program information with students and families, collecting entries, coordinating judging, and submitting selected entries to the next level.
