If your student is going to Folsom High School next year, this message is for you!

Hi, my name is Lesley Finkel and I am the chair of the Folsom High School Sober Grad Night Committee. If your student will be continuing on to Folsom High next year, joining the FHS Sober Grad Night Committee is a great way to get involved as your student starts high school. If you are not familiar with Sober Grad Nights, they are annual events that many high schools put on for graduating seniors on graduation night. The idea is to provide a fun and safe place for seniors to celebrate graduation without the risk of drug or alcohol related injuries and/or death which frequently occur on grad nights when students are out and about celebrating and driving around. Folsom High has been putting on this event for over 30 years and we offer an all night event that offers tons of activities (hypnotist show, outdoor movie, casino, photo ops, bounce house, corn hole, personalized license plates and so much more), food all night long, and prizes for every single student. This event is only made possible by parent support. Getting involved in the committee as your student enters high school is a great way to pay it forward, meet other parents and ensure that this event continues to happen when your student is in 12th grade. We have some open positions for the 2026-27 school year and always welcome new members to check it out and get involved in big or small ways. The 8th Grade Dance is happening on May 15th from 6-9pm. This year's theme is Vegas!!
The Sutter Middle School PTA is looking for parents to volunteer on the planning committee.
All virtual meetings (via Zoom). Meeting dates are as follows,
Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 @ 7pm
Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 @ 7pm
Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 @ 7pm
Please only volunteer if you can commit to all meetings!
