Folsom Middle School PTO WHY PTO Support Matters to the Students

The FMS PTO throws some of the school’s best social events, like the 6th Grade Social and the 8th Grade Dance.

The FMS PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a registered 501c3 non-profit whose mission supports students, teachers, staff and community of Folsom Middle School in Folsom, CA. But the majority of PTO’s funding goes toward critical student athletics and arts activities, school departments, and extracurricular clubs. As you probably already know, participation in sports, the arts and other organized activities builds confidence, develops leadership skills and promotes teamwork. What you may not be aware of is that these students are also more likely to complete high school and go to college, but are less likely to smoke, use drugs or become involved in violent activity like gangs. These are outcomes that we all want for our own children, so let’s work together and set Folsom Middle School’s students up for success! WHO Can Help & HOW

The PTO is always in need of volunteers and donations. There are varying levels of volunteer opportunities, ranging from one-time event help to leading a committee or serving on the PTO Board. Any questions, please contact us at: [email protected]

Did you know your Color Run donation could DOUBLE without costing you another dime?! 🎨🐾💙

Many employers offer corporate matching programs and will match charitable donations made by their employees — sometimes dollar-for-dollar! 🙌

If you’ve already donated, take a minute to check with your HR department or search your employee portal for “donation matching” or “matching gifts.” That one extra step could turn your $50 donation into $100 for FMS! 💥

Need our Tax ID (EIN) or a donation receipt? Email [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help!

Every matching gift helps us stretch our fundraising dollars even further and provide more for our FMS students, teachers, programs and campus. 💛💙

Already donated? Now let’s make those dollars do DOUBLE duty! 🎨🐆💰
