Folsom Middle School PTO WHY PTO Support Matters to the Students

The FMS PTO throws some of the school’s best social events, like the 6th Grade Social and the 8th Grade Dance.

The FMS PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a registered 501c3 non-profit whose mission supports students, teachers, staff and community of Folsom Middle School in Folsom, CA. But the majority of PTO’s funding goes toward critical student athletics and arts activities, school departments, and extracurricular clubs. As you probably already know, participation in sports, the arts and other organize

d activities builds confidence, develops leadership skills and promotes teamwork. What you may not be aware of is that these students are also more likely to complete high school and go to college, but are less likely to smoke, use drugs or become involved in violent activity like gangs. These are outcomes that we all want for our own children, so let’s work together and set Folsom Middle School’s students up for success! WHO Can Help & HOW

Grab your chairs and blankets and come hang out with us picnic-style! Don’t forget to bring plenty of cold water and drinks to stay hydrated. ☀️💦

We’ll have 🎶 live music, 🌿 lawn games, and information from your FMS PTO — plus Limon e Sal and Kona Ice will be serving up some delicious food and treats available for purchase!

Bring the family, find a spot on the green, and enjoy a fun evening with our FMS community.

Mark your calendars and please join us for our upcoming 2026-2027 PTO meetings.

It’s a great opportunity to learn more about what is happening at FMS, hear directly from our principal and PTO board members, ask questions and make suggestions, and be involved in these formative years in your students life. Only a few more days until we kick off the new school year with an evening of good food, good music (please note a correction to our flyer: the Mayonnaise Puppets has recently changed their name to Pepper Spray) and good fun!

All families and grades levels are welcome and encourage to come out to this free event.

Be sure to bring chairs or a blanket to sit and lots of cold water/drinks to stay
