I just had the most amazing wave of nostalgia seeing this picture…

This was about 12 years ago. These kiddos were only 8 and 9 years old, playing “Born to Be Wild” together in a little band called Zombie Kidz.

And look at them now…

The piano player, Rhyuhn Green, just played a headlining show at City Winery this week, where he performed his new song that’s currently being showcased on WXPN. He was also awarded a certificate from the City of Philadelphia for being the youngest composer to have original compositions entered into the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Music Department.

And the guitar player, Logan Smith, is now out there killing it with his band , Twist It, alongside the one and only Sara Higgins. They just got home from tour, have three singles getting national airplay on SiriusXM Octane, were named 93.3 WMMR Philadelphia Band of the Month, and are already packing up to head out on a West Coast tour!

I seriously could not be more proud of these kiddos.
Okay…they’re in their 20s now …but they’ll always be Let There Be Rock kiddos for life!!
From 8 and 9 years old playing “Born to Be Wild” together…to making their own mark on the music world.
THIS is what it’s all about !!!!
