Here's our Halloween Recap at Vista! We did Trunk or Treat where Seniors got to decorate their trunks for our Vista trick or treaters. There were some pretty cool costumes throughout school, check it out! 🎃

Vista went to the Forestry Challenge at Leoni Meadows this October 23rd-26th! With their great presentation skills and quick learning of Forestry and tools, both teams qualified for Championships with 200+ points! Great job to both teams! We are so proud of you Eagles! 🤍🦅

Congratulations to Advika Rajesh for earning the Girl Scout Gold Award! The Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can achieve. Advika's Gold Award project was aimed to address the importance of arts for individuals who are neurodiverse. She held large workshops for Will At Work, which is based in India, and during these workshops, she trained volunteers on the steps to continue her work sustainably. We are so proud of our Eagle Advika Rajesh, great work! 💙🦅

This year's Homecoming theme is a Night at Olympus! The Homecoming parade is on September 18th and Homecoming dance is on the 21st. Dance tickets will be on sale from Monday, 9/9 until Friday, 9/20 at 4 PM. Tickets are $26 with ASB and $37 without.

Guest bids can be found online on the Vista webpage or at the Student Accounts window, and more dance information is linked here. Vista student tickets can also be purchased online or at Student Accounts; however, guest tickets can only be purchased at the Student Accounts window with an approved guest bid. All guest tickets must be completed and tickets purchased by 4 PM on 9/20.

Tickets **cannot** be purchased at the door this year.

Junior, Ernesto Reynoso, is heading out to Sweden next week for a pro-bowling tournament for Team USA. Reynoso explains how he started bowling at just 10-years-old at a free summer bowling program and has now found a passion within it. You can see him compete on the CBS Sports channel. Reynoso describes how he's excited for the event, especially at a pro level. We are overwhelmingly proud of Ernesto Reynoso, our student here at Vista. Congratulations. 💙
