That is NOT a chicken!

Went to get eggs this morning and the chickens seemed unsettled. Can’t imagine why!

HeiHei has her costume. She is a chicken. Any questions?

First Toffee comes looking for his own personal protected breakfast while I’m scooping grain (he gets picked on by the big boys and he’s figured out that I’m a pushover 😁), but now he’s inviting his girlfriend(s).

Pretty sure he told them that he has his own private dining reservation….

Who else is acting as a “private chef”?

Well look who strolled up in our yard 😁They were 50% off, I couldnt resist, could you? What should we name them?

Spooky morning number 2 !

Almost got lost in the meadow, but found the exit 😬

What do you think is hiding out in that mist?

I picked up a new light and wowsers! it is a whole new world for night milking!

Usually we use head lamps or hand held flashlights but this is rechargeable and has magnets that let it attach to the metal roof. So bright!

Do you have electricity at your barn/shed or do you have to bring your own light?

Soooo many spiders 😳And look at the spider zip line 😆Do you have lots of “pest control” keeping the flies at bay?

Certainly ups the spookiness factor for October!

It was soooo dewy going through the grass, I wonder how many gallons of water is condensed on our grass? 🤔

Help me decide! Which one is the best sunset rays photo from tonight? Y’all getting any good ones?

Big Mac, you get a pass since you are a rooster, but the rest of you ladies 🤨

Who else has hens on sabbatical?

Goodness knows it’s not from lack of feed.
