Wild Roots Learning Center We are a learning center with a focus on academic learning, relationships, play, nature, inclusion & love. We provide services to children PreK-12th grade.

We provide a quality education, but preserve the adventure, freedom & wonder of childhood.

Our field trips are thoughtfully planned to align with our classes, peak deeper interest, experience something new or just a fun day with friends (this was one that was all of the above!) California Caverns was worth the drive and - ice reprieve from our October ninety degree weather!

Thank you Folsom Times for the great evening honoring the Best of Folsom 2026. A “normal day” looks different here. Nature is the classroom, curiosity is the curriculum, and kids leave more capable than when they arrived. If you’re looking for a TK–12 learning environment that trades desks for dirt and worksheets for wonder, we’re now enrolling for the year ahead. We only have classes Monday-Thursday. Fridays are dedicated to field trips and community events- but not just your typical field trips! A few on the books already for this year include archery lessons, California caverns, Yosemite overnight camp for 4th+, Apple hill and more. Our end of the year camping trip was a perfect way to kick off summer- sunshine, paddle boards, dirt, marshmallows and campfires! Love this community so much!
