Congratulations, Longhorns! We exceeded our fundraising goal, which means we officially get to bring back one of the kids’ favorite MRE traditions—sliming Mr. Peterson!

We’re hosting a special evening session of Perkin With Peterson for MRE parents on Tuesday, October 6th at 5:30 PM in the MRE Library.

Come enjoy some treats while connecting directly with Principal Peterson. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and hear more about what’s happening at Mangini Ranch Elementary.

Parents only — no children, please.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, LONGHORNS!

We did it! We exceeded our Dance-a-thon fundraising goal! That means we are officially SLIMING MR. PETERSON!

A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing MRE families, students, teachers, staff, and sponsors for coming together to make this happen. Your generosity helps make so many wonderful programs, events, and experiences possible for our students!

🌟 A special thank you to our incredible volunteers! Thank you to everyone who helped decorate, chaperone, and make the Dance-a-thon such a fun and memorable event for our students. And an extra-special shoutout to our amazing mascot volunteers! You went above and beyond and truly made the event extra special for our kids. We appreciate you!

And don’t forget about this year’s Dance-a-thon shirts! They’re GLOW-IN-THE-DARK! You can charge them under a light, but they’ll glow even more brightly if you charge them in direct sunlight.

🏆 More information about our Dance-a-thon prize winners and the sliming of Mr. Peterson will be shared on ParentSquare this week. Parents will be invited to attend the sliming!

Every dollar we raise allows us to provide more programs and events to benefit our students, teachers, families and school!🧡💙🧡

👽We made it to $35k! We only need $9k more to reach our goal!👽

Thanks to our amazing MRE families, we reached our first fundraising goal of $35,000—and Mr. Peterson kept his promise! He came to school dressed as an alien!👽🛸

But we’re not done yet! We have just 2 more days to reach our $45,000 goal and bring back the ultimate MRE tradition: SLIMING MR. PETERSON!🪣

Reaching our goal will also help us continue providing the amazing programs, activities, and events our students and teachers deserve throughout the school year.🧡

Longhorns on the Lawn was one of our BEST MRE events yet!

Thank you for supporting our amazing student makers and helping make the night such a huge success! It was also one of our highest-attended events ever. 🧡💙🧡

But events like this don’t happen without your support. If every family who attended made even a small donation to our Dance-a-thon, we could reach our $45,000 goal!

If we don’t raise the funds now, we may not be able to continue offering events like Longhorns on the Lawn and other special programs this year.
