Join Fusion Belly Dance Instructor for a month-long Belly Dance Series hosted by at .sacramento

Classes will be every Tuesday in March from 5:30 - 6:30 pm

This will be a progressive series, where we build on our skills over our five weeks together. Anastasia will teach both classical and modern Belly Dance movements, historical origins of the dance, muscle isolations, and movement combos and sequences.

Together, we will focus on fluidity and flow, putting all of the moves we learn into a short choreography throughout the series that will culminate in our last class on March 31.

We are limiting participation to make sure each student gets tailored instruction from Anastasia, so register sooner rather than later!

Teaching for was so much fun with an unexpected twist - we were joined by the Junior Lifeguards who were training down at Folsom Lake, so my class consisted of a total of 56 kids and 15 adults!

It was a great challenge for me as an instructor to keep the attention and interest of almost 60 children/teens! But I had a total blast and got to be in my silly energy which I love being able to embody when I teach! 😊 Overall a great experience that really challenged me, and I look forward to working more with CA State Parks in the future!

See you tonight at Hoi Polloi Dance Studio for Mixed Level Fusion Bellydance! Come dance and de-stress from a busy week and get in a great workout while you do it! Tonight we will drill isolations, practice shimmies and learn a short “8 counts of 8” combo! All levels welcome. $20 drop in or $60 to prepay in advance for 4 classes. We are SOUL excited to be back on the dance floor with you all again under the Aries Full Moon next Friday night! 💃🏿💃🏼💃🏽 We have such a fun lineup of collaborators and facilitators this month and we can’t wait to experience their magic! ✨

✨ is hosting a belly dancing workshop from 6:30 - 7:30 pm

✨ aka AMEN is our DJ from 8:00-9:30 pm

✨and the Godis herself, is back for our closing sound healing ceremony at 9:30

✨ is offering custom henna art from 6-9

✨ is setting up a tea lounge in our conversation area for the evening

✨ is offering intuitive oracle readings

✨ and our resident massage therapist, Tiffany with is joining us again

We love how each of our events takes on a life of its own and we can’t wait to see what we all co-create together next week!
