Our school age room requested a Target & Starbucks for their dramatic play area and it took a few weeks to pull everything together but it is officially set up and they are loving it!

Need a song relentlessly stuck in your head today?
Look up the tune Hop Little Bunnies to get an idea of how much fun these preschoolers were having before Easter 🐇 First they pretend to be sleeping bunnies then they WAKE UP and hop, hop, hop!!
They were having so much fun this day, I think the song was on a loop for a solid 10 minutes!

This week, we got to celebrate one year of getting to work with Ms. Marcia! She joined the team and very quickly after, stepped into the role of our lead toddler teacher. Excited to give it a go and see if it was a good fit, I am always happy to share it was a better fit than we could have imagined! Marcia we are so glad to have you here with us. Not only can we often find you singing or asking good questions but you're on task, honest, great at seeing an idea through and we love the way you put a positive spin on everything. Thanks for investing in these kiddos, and showing up ready to play every day!

Our toddler room showed up in a big way this week for St Patrick's Day!

On the 1st and 11th of each month, the staff here celebrate what I like to call One Day ~ Pun Day

I break out a solid pun & get the perfect excuse to treat the staff! Last week, we had a bunch of treats wrapped in blue and a punny phrase to go along.

Everyone shows up, works hard, has fun and we really do appreciate them!

A couple of weeks ago, we had a fun staff outing🎉😂
We went to a thrift store and spun the spinner to see what category of clothes we would be choosing from and let our coworkers do a random grab when we yelled STOP!
After assembling our outfits and accessories, we got dressed and went out to dinner.
It's great to spend time together outside of the workplace, a real blessing when coworkers feel more like friends or family than just someone you clock in with- we just wish more of the crew had the evening open and were up for our crazy antics! 🤪
This was definitely NOT my idea and a huge shout out to the teacher that suggested it, many laughs were had!!

Last week our Infant classroom did some taste safe finger painting with yogurt. They added some berries to make bright, beautiful coloring 🫐🍓

We hope everyone had a great Valentine's Weekend ❤️ Each classroom here had their own little party... we are so lucky to get to celebrate with the cutest little valentines in the area!

Last week we had a beach day 🏖 despite all the cold. We had fun outfits and beach things from home. A couple of the classrooms even made paper sandcastles with shapes and painted over them with a mix of glue and sand to give it the real sandcastle feel!

This month's staff meeting was a post-baby baby shower for our teacher, Ms Jocelyn 🎉 It was so great getting to meet and snuggle baby Layne. Good food, gifts, games and laughs make for a great evening!

One of the games we played was a baby food taste test and I was a little rotten putting in a couple meat flavored baby foods 🤢 They were good sports and everyone showed up for work today so that's good news! It was pretty comical watching big sister use the baby foods as a dipping sauce for her pizza 🤣

God Bless our center and all the kiddos in it. We are forever grateful to watch the families here grow💙

We celebrated new years eve with a Grinch day, had a lot of fun with the different outfits, crafts and our cardboard cut out visitor!
