Notice of filing dates for election to the School Board: Independent School District No. 51 (Foley, Minnesota).

Notice is hereby given that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member for ISD #51 shall begin on July 30, 2024 and shall close at 5:00 P.M. on August 13, 2024. The general election shall be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Four members will be elected by a general election to the School Board for terms of 4 years each expiring 12/31/28.

Affidavits of Candidacy are available from School District Clerk, Sharon Kipka, at the District Office, 840 Norman Avenue North, Foley, MN 56329.

School Board meeting tonight 5/29 at 7:30pm. Please pass the word and try to attend!

Our school LPN’s work so hard. They are ready for any medical emergency and keep our kids comfortable and safe. They are included in the Educational Assistants contract and have been without a contract just as long!

Our negotiators will be going to Mediation on May 31st. Talk to your school board members to let them know how valuable our team is!
