🐴 WORKING STUDENT OPPORTUNITY 🐴
Red Line Equestrian
Red Line Equestrian is looking for a dedicated working student to join our small, private training facility!
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience with horses while continuing to develop their riding and horsemanship skills.
✨ WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Work 3 evenings per week
• Groom and tack horses
• Lunge and prepare horses for lessons and training
• Assist with general barn duties
• Help keep the facility organized
• Assist with day-to-day operations
• Learn and take direction as you develop your skills
📋 REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous horse experience is required
• Reliable transportation is required
• Must be available 3 evenings per week
• Must be dependable and responsible
• Must be comfortable handling and working around multiple horses
• Must have a willingness to learn and work independently
🐎 WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE:
• 1 lesson per week
• Opportunity to ride a variety of horses in various disciplines
• Certifications (Fees covered for the right individual)
• Opportunities to travel to horse shows and events
• Opportunities to assist with and eventually teach beginner lessons
• Hands-on experience learning about training and developing horses
• The opportunity to learn more about barn management and facility operations, if desired
• Exposure to the many different aspects of running a small training and boarding facility
This is more than just a barn-help position!
Our goal is to provide a hands-on educational opportunity for someone who genuinely wants to learn more about horses, horsemanship, training, teaching, and barn management.
The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, eager to learn, and looking to become more involved in the equestrian industry.
