Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality.
💫 When we stop taking things personally, we free ourselves from the opinions and actions of others. We can maintain our sense of inner peace and self-worth, regardless of what anyone else says or does. 💪
🙌 This doesn't mean that we should ignore feedback or constructive criticism, or that we shouldn't take responsibility for our own actions. It simply means that we should not allow the opinions and actions of others to control our emotions or sense of self.
By not taking things personally, we can experience a greater sense of freedom and inner peace, and live our lives according to our own values and beliefs. 💖

This is Nelly Neuron. She hangs out in my office and helps me teach about the billions of neurons in your brain that connect to form neural pathways for mental, physical, social, and emotional learning and activity. 🧠💪🏽 Did you know that you are in control of the types of pathways that you build? 😎

💜 Our kids need this training. 💙

Let's take a moment to reflect on this powerful quote from one of our WISDOM Coach's clients, Mike*:

"I discovered that I am in control of my feelings ─ not anyone else. This makes me feel in control of myself. How I talk to myself and think about myself is up to me. If I think bad things about myself, I feel bad about myself. If I think nice things about myself, I can shift my anger and feel happier."

At Adventures in Wisdom, we believe in empowering kids with the tools and skills they need to navigate life's challenges.

Our Positive Self-Talk program is designed to help kids like Mike shift their anger and negative self-talk to positive and empowering thoughts.

By taking control of their feelings and thoughts, kids can unlock their full potential and create a brighter future for themselves.
