Hi everyone! 🎬 We need some awesome student and adult volunteers to help at the Teen Canteen concession stand this Saturday! It's the last movie in the park for the season, so we expect a big turn out and need all hands on deck!

📅 Saturday, August 8th

🕐 Report time- 8:00p

📍Riverview Park-Teen Canteen stand(in the old pool building)

👕 Flushing Music or Raiders shirt, hat, and hair pulled back if able.

🍿 This is a great opportunity to get real life work experience while also hanging with friends and helping our music programs!

Car Wash Fundraiser TODAY! 10a-4p.

Come out and have your whip washed by the band and orchestra kiddos to help raise money for our music program!

It’s been a while, in case you’re new here, please allow us to introduce ourselves!

What is FBOB?

A non-profit organization comprised of a group of former and current parent volunteers, and elected students who organize fundraising and financial support for ALL Flushing Schools instrumental programs.

What does FBOB do?

✅FBOB organizes parent volunteers for all activities, for all music program events that require volunteer assistance.
✅FBOB orchestrates multiple fundraisers throughout the year to raise money to support the programs.
✅FBOB manages uniform sizing for all instrumental music programs.
✅FBOB assists the directors of each program in many tasks throughout the year to keep the programs organized and fun!
✅FBOB does many more things that we don’t even have listed here!

Common Mis-Conceptions about FBOB…

You MUST be a board member to attend monthly meetings.
👎🏻FALSE! ANYONE can attend our monthly meetings; they are open to the public.

You MUST be an elected board member to be a part of any committee run by FBOB.
👎🏻FALSE! Any parent or volunteer can be a member of any of our many committees!

FBOB ONLY raises money for Marching Band.
👎🏻FALSE! FBOB offers fundraising and financial support to the Band, Orchestra and Guard programs.

Fundraisers held in the summer months are for Marching Band Only…
👎🏻FALSE! Any fundraiser held by FBOB is used to raise money for all programs throughout the year. Any band, orchestra or guard member is welcome and encouraged to participate in any fundraiser during all times of the year!
