📚 FCS Chronicles for Today!

💤 Kindergarten & 1st Grade enjoyed some much‑needed rest time this afternoon — a peaceful pause in their busy day.

✏️ 2nd Grade put their focus to the test as they tackled their math quiz.

🎶 3rd Grade showed off their musical skills as they tested for their next recorder karate belts!

🌎 4th Grade dove into the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, learning how and why earthquakes happen in Social Studies.

♟️ 5th Grade sharpened their strategy by competing against the computer to level up their chess skills.

📝 6th, 7th & 8th Grade powered through their Social Studies finals — finishing strong as the year winds down!

✨ A full, fulfilling day of learning as we head toward the end of the school year! FCS students are finishing with focus, joy, and determination.

With a gentle spirit and incredible artistic talent, Sawyer turns imagination into masterpieces. His kindness and creativity make him a standout student and a joy to celebrate. He works hard with heart and doesn't give up.

Sawyer will continue his education journey at Martin Luther High School starting this Fall. His talent, kindness, and gentle presence will surely make an impact in his new school.

Future Friday was overflowing with excitement as we welcomed an incredible lineup of speakers who shared how God has led them into the careers they’re living out today! From an alum who is both a high schooler and a business owner, to a hairdresser turned Pastor’s wife, to a travel agent, and even officers from the NYPD and SCPD — our students got to see just how creative and purposeful God’s callings can be.

It was a vibrant, inspiring morning where students asked thoughtful questions, explored new possibilities, and caught a glimpse of how the Lord might use their gifts in the years ahead. Our speakers were gracious, engaging, and full of wisdom, and we are so grateful they took time out of their busy schedules to pour into our students.

We love giving our students moments like this — moments that spark imagination, build confidence, and remind them that God has a beautiful plan for their future. 💙✨

And of course… a huge congratulations to Ms. Grace, our top staff fundraiser! She took home a Raising Cane’s gift basket filled with gift cards and goodies — the perfect prize for a true fried‑chicken fan. Look at that smile! 😄🙌💛

And that’s a wrap on our annual Jog‑a‑thon fundraiser — what an amazing year! 🎉💙

Last week in Elementary Chapel, our hearts were stirred as our PE teacher, Mr. David Lou, shared his story of serving as a missionary at just 19 years old. That very first trip ignited a passion in him, and ever since, he has faithfully traveled each year to shine the light and love of Jesus to children around the world. 🌍✨

At the close of chapel, our students and staff covered him in prayer, lifting up his upcoming mission and asking God to use him in powerful ways.

As you read this, Mr. Lou is serving in Panama, sharing Christ’s hope with the next generation. Thank you for joining us in prayer for a mission trip that is fruitful, impactful, and filled with God’s presence. 🙏💙

In Middle School Chapel, Mrs. Feld shared her powerful testimony of surrendering her life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, inviting our students to open their hearts to Him as well. It was a deeply moving time of worship and reflection, filled with gratitude for God’s unconditional forgiveness and His relentless love for us. Our prayer is that every student continues to encounter the transforming grace of Christ in a personal and life‑changing way.

A thoughtful blend of intellect, creativity, and character. David's artistic gifts, sharp mind, and humble nature are complemented by a lighthearted playfulness that brings joy to those around him.

In the Fall, David will begin his journey at St. Francis Preparatory, where his playful humor will no doubt keep his classmates laughing all year long.

God is with us in every difficulty, and He doesn’t leave once the storm has passed. He is the One who gives us strength.

Isabella is kind‑hearted, sweet, and deeply caring toward everyone around her. Her love for the Lord shines through in the compassion and grace she shows others. She is someone who will always stand for what is right and step in when someone is in need. Her gentle spirit, strong faith, and loyal heart make her a true blessing to all who know her.

She will be a light at Bayside high School starting this Fall.
