Middle School students got their first look at Override, this season’s VEX Robotics Competition game! 🤖

Central's 5th & 6th grade students kicked off "Houses" with a sorting ceremony and game to earn house points! All students were sorted into 1 of 4 houses (red, green, purple, blue).

It was a great opportunity to build new friendships, mingle across grade levels and classes, and promote a positive school culture. The kids will have opportunities all year to earn points and compete with their houses.

Students in Mrs. Holaly and Mrs. Zavracky’s seventh-grade ELA classes are kicking off an exciting new reading tradition this year:
Book Trailer Thursday & First Chapter Friday!
Each week, students will be introduced to a new book and explore a variety of genres through book trailers, first-chapter previews, and fun conversations about reading. Students will have the chance to enter a raffle to be the FIRST student to read the featured book!

The goal is simple: to inspire curiosity, build excitement, and help students discover books they can’t wait to read.
