Today is World Teen Mental Wellness Day!
We’re here to tell you that:
1. It's okay to be kind to yourself
2. Remember that while social media might portray a different story, it's okay to not be okay
Here are some coping skills to help you when you do not feel okay:
• Deep breathing
• Picture yourself in your happy place
• Move your body
• Draw, write it out, play video games
• Spend time with friends
• Get some fresh air and sunshine
Coping skills help you:
• Express your feelings in constructive ways
• A positive outlet for you to process emotions
• Develop skills to resolve conflict
