Teacher Leader Academy 2026 was a great success. Brandon, Northwest Rankin, and Pelahatchie Ed Prep teachers enjoyed professional development with many other EdRising advisors across Mississippi! Together, we experienced a full day of dynamic sessions covering everything from competitive events and conference updates to building positive chapter cultures. Thank you to Belhaven and MS Ed Rising for bringing passion, expertise, and dedication to empowering teacher leaders statewide!

Students in Mrs. Jennifer Johnson’s Problems of American Democracy class put their reading comprehension and critical thinking skills to work as they searched for clues to find the spy during a U.S. Constitution detective activity! 🔎📚

School Picture Day is Wednesday, August 12th.

Parents who want to order school pictures may do so online through the following link, or students can pick up an order form in the main building front office or TOMS office.

Online pre-orders must be placed by 8:00 a.m. on August 12th. Orders placed after that time will not make it into Bruckner's system, and you will have to call Bruckner’s for ordering instructions. Cash / Check orders must be paid at the time of pictures.

10th grade students will receive a new MacBook on August 13 or 14 during their English 2 class!

The following must be done in order for a student to be issued a new device:
- 26-27 Usage fee paid
- Pay any outstanding damage fees
- Turn in an APPLE brand charging block and cord or pay $40 fee ($20 for the block, $20 for the cord)

All fees can be paid through the Device Payment link on the RCSD website.

*If damage is found on the device during the swap, a damage fee will be assessed and students will receive a new device only when the fee has been paid.
