🧠 Hands-On Learning in Psychology!

Our Psychology students put their knowledge of the human brain to work! After learning about the different parts and functions of the brain, students worked in groups to create brain models using Play-Doh and mannequin heads.

Students also became brain surgeons for a day as they investigated different types of brain trauma and how injuries can affect the brain.

What a fun and creative way to bring classroom learning to life! Great job, Cougars! 🖤💛

We would like to thank the Political Awareness & Involvement/Social Action Committee of the Jackson (MS) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for visiting Northwest Rankin High School and empowering our seniors through a nonpartisan voter registration drive and scholarship information.

We appreciate Mrs. Mikel Bolden and Dr. Lawren Long for sharing valuable information and encouraging our students to be informed, engaged, and prepared to make a difference.

Today we recognize our amazing custodial team and thank them for all they do for NWRHS. From keeping our school clean and ready each day to helping wherever they are needed, their hard work makes a difference throughout our building.
