Our Northwest Rankin Middle School seventh grade football team opens the 2026 season when they travel to Warren Central to battle the Vikings. Kickoff is set for 6 PM.

Beginning tomorrow, Monday, August 24th, all students will be expected to wear their student ID badge around their neck throughout the school day, except when participating in sports or other approved athletic activities.

Student ID badges are an important part of helping us maintain a safe and organized school environment. Badges will be scanned for entry into meetings and activities during PAWS block, such as Book Club, FCA, Beta Club, Student Council, and other approved student meetings and activities.

Students who do not have their student ID badge will not be permitted to attend these meetings or activities. In addition, students who are not wearing a badge will receive consequences.

We understand that students occasionally forget their badges. A temporary badge will be available. While this temporary badge will help the students avoid disciplinary consequences, temporary badges may not be used to enter meetings or activities during PAWS block.

We appreciate your help in reminding your student to bring and wear their ID badge each day. This small step helps us improve safety and accountability throughout our school.
