Summer is here! 🌞 If your summer feels like it's stalling, then kick-start it with our Summer Karate Series, an introductory program crafted to make you walk out of it stronger, sharper, more confident, and with some new friends.

🔰 Beginner Class:
You do NOT need to have a “healthy body” nor prior martial arts training to do this program. Come as you are! You’ll improve your self esteem and & self confidence as you go! Just show up and be ready to grow! 🌱

🕔 Schedule:
• 5:15pm (ages 7+) (Note: this is not a "kids program", but kids are welcome to join)
• OR 6:15pm (ages 13+)
• Mondays & Thursdays (12 weeks)
• Jun. 4th – Aug. 27th

📅 Program Details:
• Located at the Flowood YMCA
• 25 total lessons (45 minutes each)
• Limited space available

Good news! We're extending the Summer Karate Series to 12 weeks instead of six!

If you have vacations this summer, you'll have plenty of time to learn everything this program has to offer without falling behind. If you don't have vacation plans this summer, this'll give you more time to build real skills and transform yourself into a stronger, sharper, more confident person with some new friends!

For most, summer is a time to hang out with friends. But for those who have a hard time making friends, summer can be a lonely, depressing time. There is a way to fix that. Repeated, low-stakes, positive interactions with people can kick-start lasting friendships.

While Karate training isn't "low-stakes" per se, training with others can build camaraderie (and you're guaranteed to have at least one thing in common).

If you're wanting to make friends this summer, join us in our Summer Karate Series, an introductory course for teens, adults, and seniors (kids 7 and up may join, but it’s not a “kids program”). You will build real skills and walk away stronger, sharper, more confident, and with some new friends!
