Last week students in grades 3-5 participated in our NWRE zone Business in the Classroom. We are so thankful for UMMC students Blake Waldrip and Caleb McCreary along with Jeri Lynn Rushing for coming to speak about their professional knowledge to our students!

The Interact Club from NWR High School and Flowood Rotary Club came to give all of our second graders dictionaries! Our students were so excited about this gift and have already been using the dictionaries in their writing! THANK YOU!

We recently recognized our bus drivers for all that they do for our students and community! Their job is so vital in supporting our school. THANK YOU to the amazing men and women who drive our bus routes each day! We appreciate YOU!

Our BOOSTERTHON challenge for Thursday night was to get pledges from the most states! Congratulations to Lilly Zinke (1st grader) and Adam Zinke (3rd grader) for each getting pledges from 4 states! Way to go!! We hope you enjoyed your SONIC lunch!

BOOSTERTHON update - Our school family has worked together to raise $8,676 towards our goal! That’s incredible! Let’s keep up the good work! Remember - if NWRE reaches $20,000, our principals will camp out in the school for an entire night!

Tonight’s Challenge: The top class in each grade with the most total pledges will earn an extra recess on Tuesday!
