Calling all First Responders and Military – don’t STRIKE out and miss this experience! ⚾️

MSDPS has proudly partnered with the Mississippi Braves to host a fun-filled night expressing our appreciation for all that you do!

First Responders and Military personnel from across the state are eligible to receive complimentary tickets to the game on Saturday, September 7th at 6:05 p.m. Be sure to have your ID/Credentials with you at the ticket counter to receive your tickets for the game!

We will also have a “touch-a truck” vehicles, Mounted Patrol, and K-9’s before the game and a fireworks show after the game! 🎆

Thank you all for the work that you do, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Hi parents,
I wanted to let you know I have been transferred to Oakdale Elementary School. This was a huge shock to me, and has happened so quickly. Our numbers in Kindergarten were really low this year, and they needed a teacher at Oakdale. I will certainly miss NWR and I appreciate all the support from all of you, with our Cougar Trooper Club, over the years.

I’m happy to report Carmen Wood (second grade teacher) will be taking over Cougar Troopers in my absence. Her husband is in the Air Force. Alicia Hearns (first grade assistant) will also be helping out. Her husband is retired Army and is the ROTC instructor at the highschool.

I have thoroughly enjoyed running this club for the past 4 years! I’ve loved watching the kids grow emotionally as well as physically. They are so strong and so resilient. So very proud how much this little military club has grown, and love our military community. I’m an email away should you need any help with anything.
