It’s 4th of July Szn Baby and GT Sailing Club is hosting a 4th of July Party up at Lake Lanier this year! 🎉🌟💥 It will be from Saturday July 1 to Sunday July 2, so get your American 🇺🇸flag shorts ready cause this event will include Sailing, Camping, and fun beach activities at the lake!🥳🎇🌭 Check out the sign up form in the bio and join slack for more info! Our summer Learn to Sail is coming up May 25th! This is a 6-week course that offers all you need for both classroom and on-the-water lessons. If you’ve never had experience on a boat, this is a great way to start within the club! Get away from the heat and get involved this summer! Check out our bio to join slack.

Our annual dogwood regatta is coming up next weekend!! The event will be held May 20-21 at Lake Lanier. We will be offering 420s, J24s, Lasers, and Hobies. last weekend we hosted our annual banquet to wrap up another year of sailing at tech! ⛵️⚓️🌞we had some good laughs and some bittersweet goodbyes, but we are excited for a new year of GT Sailing!! thank you to all those who came, and to those who didn’t, we hope to see you soon in or out the water!! go jackets 🐝

From March 18-22, GT Sailing is going to Panacea, Florida for our Spring Break Trip! Open to any student, even non members. For about $75 a night, come down to Florida to sail with us!
Shown is the beachfront we’d be staying at. Perfect location for some great sailing anytime we want. It’s a very relaxed trip for all experience levels. Reach out to our Social Chair on the Slack, Hector Mur Lopez, for more information.

GT Sailing traveled down to Rollins College in Winter Park, FL for two regattas, the SAISA Fall Women’s Championship, where we competed against 12 teams, and the SAISA Fall Open Championship, where we competed against 18 teams!
Competing in both women’s and co-ed, we’re glad the wind came around. Thank you so much to for hosting these great events!
