U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary & Flotilla 29! 🇺🇸

As you celebrate with family and friends, please boat responsibly - wear your life jacket, designate a sober operator, and make safety your first priority. A safe day on the water means everyone returns home to celebrate with those they love.

From all of us in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, thank you for allowing us to serve this incredible community. We wish you a safe, and blessed Independence Day.

🇺🇸⚓ This Fourth of July weekend, celebrate responsibly on the water!

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is proud to support Operation Dry Water, a nationwide campaign focused on preventing boating under the influence (BUI). Just like drinking and driving, drinking and boating can have deadly consequences. Sun, wind, waves, and alcohol can quickly impair judgment, reaction time, and situational awareness.

As you enjoy America’s birthday on the water:
âś… Designate a sober operator
âś… Wear a life jacket
âś… Stay alert and aware of your surroundings
âś… Never boat under the influence

Whether you’re operating a boat, personal watercraft, kayak, or paddleboard, make safety your top priority.

This Independence Day, help keep our waterways safe for everyone. Boat sober. Boat smart. Boat safely.

Come sharpen your skills, pick up a few tips you didn’t know you needed, and help make our waterways safer for everyone.

⚓ Bonus: The only thing you’ll be navigating is the course material - not an embarrassing call to the Coast Guard.

Today, the United States Coast Guard joins the entire Nation in honoring the brave men and women across all branches of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Whether on land, at sea, in the air, or in space, those who gave their lives in defense of our freedoms share a unified legacy of courage, service, and devotion. On this Memorial Day, we remember our fallen heroes in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard.

We stand with their families, loved ones, and communities today and always. The weight of their sacrifice spans across every branch, and their memories will never be forgotten.

Make the most of National Safe Boating Week (May 16–22, 2026) by making safety your priority. Wear a life jacket every time you’re on the water. Falls overboard happen without warning—and a life jacket could mean the difference between a close call and a tragedy for you and the people who love you.
