Can the Bible really tell us what to do?

Tonight we're talking about authority. Biblical authority. As a result of canonization, we can know what books belong and which ones don't, but do the Scriptures have the authority to direct our lives? This is the topic of conversation tonight!

We talk about the Bible every time we gather at Equip hopefully! But specifically, we're going to begin a discussion on how we got the Bible, how we find it to be authoritative, and even more things we can know about it.

Theology!

Tomorrow night we're starting our series on systematic theology! This is a series we've wanted to do for a long time. Systematic theology isn't everything, but the value of making a study all the way through Christian doctrine can be incredibly foundational to a worldview. Also, it can bring incredible clarity to our understanding of the full counsel of God's Word. We're gonna talk about it tomorrow night!

Spiritual Warfare & Apologetics

Tonight, we're talking about spiritual warfare and apologetics. What do they have to do with one another? We'll talk through it tonight! There is a location change, so message us for an address or a zoom link to attend electronically!

Doctrine!

Tonight we're looking at the concept of theological triage. How do we prioritize doctrines? What should we do in reaction if a major doctrine is violated? We'll talk about it tonight!

After a couple of weeks off, we're back at Mr. Jim's tomorrow night! Scotlon is going to be teaching about how Jesus ministered to people in his conversations. In other words, how did Jesus do apologetics? I'm looking forward to learning about this topic! See you there!
