Orchestra fees are now past due.

The FMS Orchestra Booster Club budgets for our activities, supplies, clinicians and events based on the orchestra fee that is collected at the beginning of the year.

Please pay fees if you haven’t done so already to ensure we have enough funds to accomplish everything we have planned for our students this year.

Let Mrs. McHenry know privately if there is a financial reason why this is not possible.

Make plans to eat Chick-Fil-A on Wednesday night to support Orchestra! This is for MOBILE orders only. Order on the CFA app at the CFA Founders Square location from 5-8 pm and make sure to click “yes, I would like to support” the Forestwood Orchestra. Thank you!

📌 Reminder: Prelude (beginner) Orchestra has a very important rehearsal today, Monday, 9/28. All four Prelude classes will combine from 3:45-4:30pm in the orchestra room.

📢 We have an urgent need for parent volunteers at the concert on September 30th! We need your help so the concert runs smoothly and on time.

Our first Orchestra concert is on Wednesday, 9/30, from 7-8pm.
Arrival time: Prelude 6:20pm / Symphony, Philharmonic, Chamber 6:45pm
Students should arrive in full uniform (see Mrs. McHenry’s email for details), ready to perform (parents will need to help them plan ahead for necessary clothing and final touches like black socks and bow ties)
Cookie Reception to follow!

We had a great time fine tuning the All-Region audition music this morning with friends from Shadow Ridge and McKamy Middle Schools! 🎶
