Yesterday, former Falcon members of the FMHS Class of 2026 took a trip down memory lane and returned to Forestwood! Our former students dropped by to swap stories with teachers, walk the halls one last time, and take in a little bit of nostalgia as they remembered their time as a Falcon.
Next stop: graduation! Congrats class of 2026!

Yesterday's awards ceremony confirmed what we already knew: our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are kind of a big deal. 😎
Whether they were taking home Presidential Awards, Summit Awards, academic performance, meeting NJHS requirements, or being recognized for top-tier Citizenship and Student of the Year honors, these Falcons made the 2025-2026 school year one for the books.
Keep making us proud, Forestwood!

Warning: Falcons flying at championship altitudes. ✈️🏆
Our 7th grade girls soccer team just secured the bag with a 2-0 victory in the LISD soccer finals! That’s 5 District Championships for Forestwood Athletics this school year.
At this rate, we may run out of space for the banners in the gym! 🦅⚽️

Forestwood Families,
This morning during arrival, our campus experienced a brief interruption due to the smell of gas on campus. Out of an abundance of caution, everyone inside the building evacuated, and those arriving on campus remained outside.
The Flower Mound Fire Department responded immediately and were able to determine the odor was likely coming from a dry floor drain. After a thorough assessment, the FMFD confirmed that the building was safe for students and staff to reenter, and our campus resumed normal operations.
We are extremely proud of how everyone handled this minor disruption, and I want to thank everyone for their patience during our arrival process. I also want to thank the FMFD for helping ensure the safety of our school.
Please know that the safety, security, and well-being of your child is our highest priority.
Thank you for your continued support of our school.

🌟 Happy Public Schools Volunteer Week! 🌟
To our incredible Forestwood Middle School volunteers: Thank you. This week, we want to pause and celebrate YOU. We are endlessly thankful for the countless ways you show up and support our campus throughout the year. Whether you are:
Lending a hand in the library or front office
Chaperoning field trips, dances, and events
Driving initiatives through our amazing PTA
Mentoring and cheering on our students at every turn
..your dedication makes a world of difference. You bring energy, compassion, and vital support to our students and staff every single day. A school is only as strong as the community that stands behind it, and we are incredibly lucky to have you standing behind us.
On behalf of the entire Forestwood staff, thank you for sharing your time and your hearts with us. We truly could not do this without you! 💙🏫

Forestwood Families,
I wanted to let you know that our campus had a fire alarm go off today. All students and staff safely evacuated, and the Flower Mound Fire Department quickly arrived. Once the situation was determined to be a false alarm, FMFD cleared the building and deemed it safe for all students and staff to return to their normal schedule.
I am extremely proud of how students and staff members handled this minor disruption. I also want to thank the FMFD for helping ensure our students’ safety, as this is the top priority at Forestwood.
Thank you for your support of our campus.
