🥰 We ended Teacher Appreciation Week with heartfelt notes, thoughtful gifts, favorite treats, and a beautiful collaborative art piece created by our students together.

🌈 Each student contributed a watercolor brushstroke to create “Rainbow of Us” by the Elementary Class of 2025–26 alongside Abby Kate Burns — a special piece that will now be displayed in our office as a reminder of the creativity and connection within our school community.

Teachers were also treated to a pizza lunch from Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, mini toasts and mini açaí bowls from Toastique, and refreshing spa water provided by our PTO. Teachers also received gift cards from McAlister’s Deli and Sip Stir Coffee House.

Thank you to our PTO, room moms, families, and local business sponsors for making this week so meaningful for our teachers!

💐Our hearts were full watching students arrive carrying flowers for their teachers, and we are so thankful to our incredible parents for supplying such an abundance of beautiful blooms. Throughout the day, teachers delighted in selecting their favorite flowers and creating unique bouquets to take home — each one a special reminder of how loved and appreciated they are by our school community.

Teacher Appreciation Week at Montessori Country Day was a beautiful reflection of the generosity and heart of our community!

We kicked off the week by celebrating our incredible teachers with a special VIP breakfast, thoughtful treats, and so many moments of appreciation throughout campus.

This past Friday, we loved welcoming our MCDS moms into the classroom to enjoy donuts with their children and experience the joy of Montessori learning together.

Our students LOVE their teachers at MCDS and honestly, we couldn’t agree more. From hugs and encouragement to laughter, learning, and endless patience, our teachers pour so much love into every child each day.
