It takes years to master martial arts. If you only focus on the final goal (a black belt), it is easy to get discouraged.
Promotions break that long journey into smaller, bite-sized goals. Earning a new belt or chevron gives you a quick boost of pride and makes you want to keep training!

Up your sparring game! Join Mr. Maddx and other teens and adults on the following summer Saturdays, June 20th & 27th / July 4th & July 18th / August 1st from 10:00am-12:00pm for some game changing sparring sessions here at the school.
No need to register. Ages 13 and up. Younger with Mr. Maddx permission. Just show up ready to train. No uniform or belts required, wear gym clothes and bring your safety gear!

Many of our teens like David and Koko return to class during college summer breaks to maintain physical fitness, relieve academic stress, and stay connected to our tribe.
Retuning to the dojo provides a structured routine that stops them from falling into unhealthy habits or the “summer slump”.
