🎉 Meet Your 2026–2027 Fifth Grade Team! 🎉

We are excited to introduce our incredible 5th grade teachers for the 2026–2027 school year! Our students will experience a 4-way departmentalized rotation, giving every 5th grade Falcon the opportunity to learn and grow with each of these amazing educators throughout the year.

A special congratulations to Ms. Hoover, who is moving up from 4th grade to join the 5th grade team! While we'll miss her in the 4th grade hallway, she brings outstanding experience as a 5th grade ELA teacher and is ready to help our students soar.

We also want to extend our heartfelt best wishes to Ms. Richardson and her family as they begin an exciting new adventure in Colorado. Thank you for the impact you've made on our Falcons—we will miss you and wish you nothing but success and happiness in this next chapter.

💙 We are thrilled to have Ms. Jackman join our FME family and know she will be a wonderful addition to our team.

"My name is Beth Jackman and I will be teaching in 4th grade at FME this year! I’m an LISD graduate and this will be my 6th year teaching in the district. I graduated from the University of Alabama with dual certifications in elementary education and early childhood education. I have a passion for teaching math and science, and have taught these subjects in 4th grade for 5 years. I believe students learn best when they’re in a supportive environment that allows them to try new things without fear of making mistakes. I work hard to provide that encouraging space for each student and their own learning needs. In my spare time I enjoy reading, going on walks, and spending time with my two cats. I can’t wait to make new connections with the Falcon family!"

We are excited to announce that there are NO staffing changes on our amazing 1st Grade team for the upcoming school year… but you will find them in a brand new hallway! 🎉

Our 1st grade classrooms are officially on the move and will now be located near Kindergarten and 2nd Grade. We are excited for this new setup and all the opportunities it will bring for collaboration, connection, and supporting our Falcons as they grow and soar! ❤️💙

"Hi Falcons! My name is Malori Lambardia and I am so excited to be joining the Flower Mound Elementary family. I was raised in Flower Mound and went through LISD schools as well. I was an ESL Pre-K Teacher for 4 years and this will be my first year in Kindergarten! This October, I will also be getting married and changing my name to Mrs. Brohaugh! I can’t wait to learn, grow, and make so many fun memories together! Go Falcons! 💙❤️"

Today we celebrated our Field Day award winners! 🏆🎉 A huge shoutout to all of our Falcons for bringing their best energy, teamwork, and especially GG — Good Game, Good Sportsmanship!

Winning is fun, but showing kindness, encouragement, and respect for others is what truly makes a champion. We are so proud of the way our students cheered each other on, played fairly, and represented what it means to be a Falcon. ❤️🦅
