Reminder for families! Our student information system is transitioning to a new and improved platform this summer — Skyward Qmlativ. Here's what that means for your family between now and the first day of school:

📌 Now – July 17 | Skyward SMS is available in read-only mode. If there are documents you may need this summer — unofficial transcripts, report cards, records, etc. — download them before July 17.

📌 July 13 | Online enrollment reopens in the new Qmlativ system.

📌 July 17 – Aug. 2 | The Skyward app will be temporarily offline. A browser link will be available during this window for document access.

📌 Aug. 3 | Family Access opens in Skyward Qmlativ! Delete and reinstall the Skyward app on your device and sign back in to get started.

📌 Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. | Student schedules are released for all grade levels.

Ms. Rupert shares:

"I am excited to join the Flower Mound Elementary community! I have many years of experience working in schools as both a classroom teacher and a professional school counselor. I am passionate about supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed building strong relationships with students, families, and staff while creating a supportive environments where children feel valued and encouraged to grow. I love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to be successful both in and out of the classroom.

In my free time, I enjoy nature photography, taking dance lessons and Pilates. I am also the proud mom to an almost 16-year-old son who will be a Junior at Hebron High School next year.

I look forward to getting to know all of the students and families at Flower Mound Elementary and becoming part of this wonderful school community.”

Please join us in giving a very special FME welcome to Ms. Dillen! We are thrilled to have her join our Falcon family and cannot wait for our students and staff to learn and grow alongside her. 💙❤️

A note from Ms. Dillen: "Hi Falcons! My name is Ashley Dillen, and I am thrilled to be joining the Falcon Family at FME! This will be my 21st year in education and my 16th year in LISD. Throughout my career, I’ve had the joy of teaching SDI (K–6), 1st grade, ECSE, and most recently ESL Pre-K, where I spent the past six years at Forest Vista Elementary.
I’m originally from Pennsylvania (with plenty of Penn State pride—WE ARE!), and my family and I have called Flower Mound home since 2010. I knew as early as second grade that I wanted to be a teacher, and that passion has only grown over the years. I truly love school and am most fulfilled when helping our youngest learners reach their highest potential—and love school just as much as I do.
I can’t wait to meet everyone and begin this exciting journey together!"

We also want to wish Ms. Noonan the very best as she transitions to another campus to support students with more specialized needs. Her heart for kids, compassion, and dedication have made such a difference at FME. We know she will continue to love on those students and do amazing things, but she will definitely be missed by our Falcon family. 🫶

🎉 Meet Your 2026–2027 Fifth Grade Team! 🎉

We are excited to introduce our incredible 5th grade teachers for the 2026–2027 school year! Our students will experience a 4-way departmentalized rotation, giving every 5th grade Falcon the opportunity to learn and grow with each of these amazing educators throughout the year.

A special congratulations to Ms. Hoover, who is moving up from 4th grade to join the 5th grade team! While we'll miss her in the 4th grade hallway, she brings outstanding experience as a 5th grade ELA teacher and is ready to help our students soar.

We also want to extend our heartfelt best wishes to Ms. Richardson and her family as they begin an exciting new adventure in Colorado. Thank you for the impact you've made on our Falcons—we will miss you and wish you nothing but success and happiness in this next chapter.
