There's no single moment when college prep "starts"—it's a series of steps that build up over the course of 7th-12th grade. 📚

On Sunday, Karen and David Dillard presented to about 40 moms from the National Charity League, Inc., Trophy Club Chapter, walking them through exactly what those steps look like. From building a strong academic profile to navigating the application process itself, the goal was simple: replace the guesswork with a plan.

What if your college experience started with launching a business?💡That's not hypothetical at Babson College because business and entrepreneurship are the curriculum from the beginning.

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure to host an in-person session with Babson College's Ryan Stanley, associate director of access and community partnerships. We encouraged students who were interested in business, entrepreneurship, or data analytics—as well as those just starting their college search—to attend. Why? Because this school offers a great return on investment, with nearly 98% of their grads landing jobs or grad school spots within six months.

Sessions like this are why we love hosting admissions reps on campus. Our students get answers straight from the source.

Senior College Counselor Margaret Rosenbaum recently made her way to Minneapolis to visit the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, a school that is home to many firsts and a vibrant student culture.

Quick Fun Facts About UMN:
📣 Cheerleading as we know it was born at UMN in 1898, when a student organized unified crowd cheers at a football game.
🚗 A UMN professor invented the automatic retractable seat belt in 1963—the same safety feature that buckles you in every time you get in a car today.
🌨️ UMN has an extensive network of underground tunnels and skyways connecting campus buildings (a necessity when Minnesota winters can drop to -30°F).
🎨 Student groups can apply to paint panels on the Washington Avenue Bridge, creating an ever-changing display of art and expression unique to campus.
