he Indian trails and stagecoach trails crossed in this location. Now resides a relaxing get-away, built around the recently restored Indian Spring Hotel Museum. Originally called the Stagecoach Inn, it is the building where the Treaty of 1825 was signed giving most of Georgia and Alabama to the United States. Make it a day trip with the family or spend the weekend browsing all of the history, shops, and natural beauty at The Village. Come stroll through the Whimsical Botanical Gardens and experience “accidental learning.” Our gardens are divided into the seven continents, giving you a taste of natural beauty from all over the globe. Our shops include Vintage Post Antiques and Collectibles, Mrs. Lee’s Stagecoach Sweet Stop, Ladybugs and Tadpoles Children’s Store, Big Chief Country Store, Daisy Pearls Women’s Boutique and Watkins Outfitters. The Arts Center featuring local art and consignments and the Australian Amphitheatre are our newest additions. The Holloway Cottages offer full kitchens with granite counter tops, family room, spa bathrooms, 1000 count sheets, high definition televisions, and many more lavish amenities. You will also notice that each cottage has its own artistic character. Unique art pieces, some local, some from far away, are placed throughout each luxurious cottage. Pinky’s Parlor is a cozy dining area and venue decorated with fireplaces, native stone, antique window tables and teak furniture imported from Asia. If you’re hosting a party, having a wedding, or just wanted to relax with a sandwich from the Big Chief, Pinky’s is the place.
