By popular request, the Irish Dancers Ball is BACK! 💫

With a busy fall season ahead, we've decided to move the Ball to January, and we hope you'll all be able to join us!

More details are coming soon, but in the meantime, dust off those dancing shoes and support all of the fantastic events happening at the Commodore John Barry Arts & Cultural Center "The Irish Center", including the upcoming Balls!

What a wonderful article about Irish dancing and our very own Coyle’s!

Today's summer story is about several Mounties at the 2026 North American Irish Dance Championships in Orlando, Florida!

Reagan Boucher ’30, placed 9th out of 260 competitors in the Girls U14, and qualified for the 2027 World Irish Dance Championships. Julianne’s Irish dance journey also has a special Mount connection! Her mom, Cathleen Jordan Rubin ’98, is one of her coaches at the McDade-Cara School of Irish Dance.

Julianne Rubin ’29 finished with a personal best of 39th place out of 290 competitors in the Girls U15.

Summer Delli Carpini ’25 earned 7th place out of 22 dancers in the 17 and Over Traditional Set competition.

These three Mounties were not the only ones working hard at the North American Irish Dance Championships. Grace Ann Coyle '79 and Colleen Coyle Kelly '88, were 2 of 30 adjudicators for the 7-day championship. Grace Ann and Colleen, along with their sister Eileen Coyle Henry '83, run the Coyle School of Irish Dance.

What a special experience for our Grace Addis who took part in the Riverdance Summer Camp in Boston. Grace learned steps from the show culminating in a showcase at the end of the week. Grace was joined by another Coyle dancer, an alum of the Riverdance camp, Ciara Burke! Another wonderful part of Irish dance.

It was a great pleasure and honor to perform for Ireland's Ceann Comhairle, Ms. Verona Murphy last night. Many thanks to the Irish Diaspora Center for the invitation to dance at this wonderful event at the historic Union League of Philadelphia.
