This week we welcomed our special friends from Sunrise Senior Living in Flossmoor! Our preschoolers sang cheerful holiday songs, jingled bells with exuberance, and presented our guests with precious handmade ornaments. Happy holidays, with love from FCC Weekday Preschool!

This week, classes delivered their pop tab collections to Ms. Brooke in the FCC office. Thank you all, for faithfully collecting year-round! This photo is of Mrs. O'Leary's sunshine room delivering 11 pounds of pop tabs! They will be added to the great pile and delivered to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) on Monday! Keep collecting!

Today FCC Weekday Preschool children performed Christmas carols for visiting residents of Sunrise Senior Living in the Sanctuary. Afterwards, the children presented residents with handmade wreaths and bracelets. We look forward to having our special friends back!

Psst, looking at you—yes (quack) you! The Rock Shop’s hosting an Easter-themed storytime Wednesday, March 27, from 6 to 7pm. Bring your pajamaed toddlers after dinner; there’ll be sweet treats, dancealongs and loads of just-ducky stories. If you’d like some cute pics with me and my fuzzy friends, I’ll begrudgingly oblige. BYO-sippy cups encouraged for patrons of any age. Don’t be late—we ducklings like prompt tuck-ins!

How lucky were we to experience another terrific Jim Gill performance today?! Jim has been visiting us at the Community House for nearly 40 years!
